INCO Ltd., Manitoba Div. EIS, MB

In November 1998 RKM Engineering upgraded the INCO Manitoba Air Quality network, by supplying, installing and commissioning 3 AQDL- RTUs as well as a complete central EIS97 system. The system includes 5 client workstations running the EIS97_client system. In March, 2002, the central system was upgraded to EIS2000.

In April 2004 the system was upgraded to EIS2002, and a real-time website (http://www.inco-thompson-airquality.com), updated once a minute, was added.

In July 2004 INCO added a fourth air quality station, which included an AQDL2 RTU, for SO2, PM2.5 and PM10.

In October 2008 the system was upgraded to EIS2008. In addition, three new AQDL2 RTUs with Ethernet communication were supplied to replace the original AQDL RTUs. The new RTUS include a special driver for the Thermo iSeries intruments, specifcically the 43i SO2 Analyzer. Data from these instruments is acquired through MODBUS protocol, and includes all diagnostic parameters.
